The pictures are exactly what you see. The house is well stocked and they have thought of everything. Loved having the bikes to use for the various trails. Various restaurants and country store within walking distance. Will definitely stay again!
Marinda - Forest Grove
Great little house right next the walking path. Hot tub in enclosed deck was wonderful.
Estella - Denver
This cabin was super comfortable and could sleep many people, there was a lot more space than anticipated. It was clean and cozy, the location in Sunriver was close to lots of trails and outdoor activities.
Solomon - West Linn
I'd like to keep it a secret but, yes of course.

This is a quintessential Sunriver home on the south end. Immaculately maintained with an incredibly comfortable king bed in the Master bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked and updated. The location is perfect on a quiet circle with a bike path behind the house but not too close. We would absolutely stay here again. Bennington was top notch!
Jennifer - Seattle
Sleeps 6 easily, convenient location, very quiet and peaceful.
Nichole - Oregon City
It's a nice home, not newly upgraded though.
Aaron - Portland
Very comfortable for 4 adults and 2 kids. Walk or ride to just about anywhere in Sunriver.
Lon and Debbie - Woodinville
Owners created a fabulous space in the woods. Beautiful and peaceful back deck where we watch the cyclists and dogs pass by. Just a short walk to the Deschutes, the lodge, the village, and even draft beer in Sunriver business park! Even the neighbors are friendly. :-) Also, thanks for welcoming one of the most important members of our family--our canine. We'll be back!
Elizabeth - Placentia
I was born and raised in Bend and now live in Southern California. We visit at least once a year and we're so impressed with this home that we plan on making this an annual vacation. Hopefully we will be able to book this location for our fall trip as well. Thank you
Jody - Lake Oswego
Overall, the house was fine. There were a few issues such as the Master bedroom was upstairs with no ceiling fan. The 2nd bedroom was downstairs and had a ceiling fan but no TV. The biggest problem was the tree cutters started every day at 6:30 AM and went all day, It was really noisy. If we knew that had been scheduled, we never would have selected this house.

Absolutely wonderful stay, thank you.

This was our second holiday season staying at 5 Trapper Lane and it did not disappoint. This year not only did we have our 3.5 year old son but brought our 5 year old labradoodle, Stella. Both our "kids" enjoyed the treats the received from Bennington Properties and the adults were very appreciate of the complementary Sage Springs Spa passes this year! When we needed a new comforter, BP came to our rescue. When the carbon monoxide monitor went off in the middle of the night (why does it always happen in the middle of the night?!) again BP responded to our request for new batteries in a quick and professional manner. We love our 1-2 time per year stays in Sunriver and will continue to use Bennington Properties, and 5 Trapper Lane as our "home away from home". Thanks for the outstanding service and Happy New Year! Darcy, Jason, Logan, and Stella

We enjoyed our stay in 5 Trapper Lane for Thanksgiving. This was our first time renting through Bennington and I'm very impressed with their customer service. A hand mixer was missing from the kitchen and I was making mashed potatoes so they hand delivered a brand new one to the house, so nice! Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful and made the process super easy. The house is in a great location, not too close to the Village, which we like, right on the bike path and a close bike ride to the river. We hope to be back someday.

What a great place!! Have been going to Sunriver for about 20 years and have stayed in many different places. Have to say Trapper 5 is now our fave. Hope to return there next October.
Bev and Bob - Reno
We have already made our reservation for next year at 5 Trapper Lane, that in it self speaks for the property and our trust and experience with Bennington. Our two week, end of summer, stay here is always enjoyable, regardless of the weather.
Larry - Orinda
We were very pleased with 5 Trapper Lane. It was very comfortable and met our needs. We did have to use our cell phone for arrival and departure as the house phone would not connect with any numbers. We have rented various properties over the years from Bennington and we have been pleased with each one.

We spent last week at Trapper 5 and an excellent experience! The home was comfortable and perfect for the 5 of us. It was very clean and filled with every amenity we needed. The bikes worked out great! One of the bikes had a flat tire that was not refillable, but there was still enough for the 4 of us. We would definitely stay here again!

Good morning! We thought this home was the best home rental we have ever stayed at, and definitely had the best stocked kitchen too!! There are just a couple of things I wanted to mention. There were quite a few wasps by the patio table, and we noticed some going under the deck. There were a couple by the hot tub too. The winding mechanism on the patio umbrella bounced back when trying to open the umbrella. This caused the umbrella to wind back down several times before we got it to stay up. The duvet on the bed in the master bedroom is really really heavy, especially for summer temperatures. There were several small pots, but no large and only one medium sized one for cooking. A couple more would be handy. Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and only mention the above as minor items. It was a wonderful house! Thank you!
Linda - Eugene
It was perfect for the two of us, 2 teenagers & our dog. We loved the closeness in proximity to the village & the resort ( where our grandsons caught the bus to Bachelor). Thank you for the cinders to help alleviate our anxiety about the icy walkway. We definitely would stay there again with this size group & our dog.

The kitchen remodel was well done however, they could update there kitchen supplies. The plates were chipped and there were not enough wine glasses. I think they only had two actual wine glasses the rest were plastic or a mismatch. Also it appears the toilets have never been replaced be were small and very low to the ground. The water pressure was very poor so you had to hold the lever down along time in order to flush. I think it would be beneficial to have them replaced. We will use Bennington properties again for sure. Your company gave exceptional customer service.

My husband and I with our 2.5 year old had a wonderful stay at 5 Trapper Lane. The house was warm and cozy, very clean, and accommodated our family wonderfully. The location was perfect to walk through the snow to the Lodge and look at all the beautiful Christmas lights. The hot tub was such a treat during the snowy nights and the gas fireplace provided lovely ambiance and warmth as we read bedtime stories. Our only critique would be the trundle bed made for some sore and stiff bodies in the morning. We also had an issue with the linens being dirty on the master bed but one call to guest services and Bennington had the issue resolved in a matter of hours. We hope to visit 5 Trapper Lane again in the near future and bring our four legged friends next time. Thanks for helping make our December vacation magical!

Over all we had a great Christmas holiday. Thank you

This is the fourth year we have rented this property from Bennington Properties and as usual, A PERFECT VACATION. Each year the level of this property has improved, this year it was the addition of a new furnace and central air conditioning. The property has always been very clean and well equipped with excellent maintenance. We had a minor problem with wasps on the deck, called Bennington and within 30 minutes a service technician was on site and corrected the problem. This is outstanding service.
Winifred - Snoqualmie
We love the location of this home. For the price per week it could definitely use a good cleaning and some updates but all in all it was a good spot for our get away.
Betty - Salem
Comfortable home. Nice deck. Enclosed garage.
David and Susan M. - Portland
We initially selected "Trapper 5" because it was one of the few "pet-friendly" options available. It ended up being a great choice - just the right size - surrounded by woods - with easy access to walking/bike paths. It was in great condition, well appointed and spotless. The one negative (if we would even call it that) is that there was a very thick layer of ice on the walkway leading to the front door - which made entering/exiting the house VERY precarious at times - even when wearing hiking boots. While there was a pail of cinders left by the door (to spread on ice) we didn't want to have the dog tracking that inside. However - that was a minor issue - and we would certainly rent the house again and recommend it to others.

Generally outstanding facilities and great cooperation from staff fixing two problems(TV and toaster).
But quite we were unsatisfied with exterior lighting:there is none on the garage which makes it very difficult to negotiate path from driveway to front door, and only minimal lighting at the front porch, and garage entrance. Need flashlight to enter code. Also snow and ice not cleared on path from driveway to front door. Cinders were inadequate to address this problem...treacherous walking.Lower ratings below due mainly to these problems.

The house was very comfy, and located a short bike ride to the Sunriver Village on the south end. 2 Bedrooms have lots of space + loft.
Robert S. - Reno
We have rented this property again next year. The property ticks all of the right boxes, just the right size for my wife and I, close to the bike path and the Village, always well maintained and in a quiet surrounding.

This was our first visit to Sunriver. House was clean and comfortable.

This was our 9th trip to Sunriver for a family vacation and the 8th with Bennington Properties. We have fond memories from all our trips and really appreciate the excellent service from the Bennington crew. Trapper 5 is located in a very quiet area with a fenced in front deck which was nice to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and not have to worry about our two dogs getting out to explore the area on their own. The house is nicely decorated, the furniture & carpeting was in great condition, the kitchen had granite counter tops and was well stocked, and the two ceiling fans helped to circulate the air. The bedroom & bathroom configuration was a little unclear to us before arriving but the master suite is upstairs and a 'Jack & Jill' bathroom downstairs with entrances from the downstairs bedroom and the entry hallway. There was no window AC in the upstairs bedroom when we were there but we could see where there was one. The bike path is fairly close out the back and while this was convenient, it did occasionally cause our dogs to bark a bit when they noticed another dog walking the path.

Overall, Trapper 5 is an excellent property, well maintained and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
