Great cabin. Not fancy, but it has the best appointed kitchen I have ever seen in a vacation rental. Even the frying pans were nonstick and of all sizes. Easy walk to a wildlife are and bike paths.

Pleasant cabin, very well equipped! Comfortable beds, great location. One small complaint, the furnace is loud, but at night I turned the thermostat down to 55, and the bedding provided kept everyone warm. Unit description indicates 2 queen beds in upstairs bedroom but there is only one (this didn’t create a problem for our group of 4).

This is a cozy cabin in a great location. I love being just a short walk to the river. I also enjoyed people watching all the walkers and bikers while hanging out on the front deck.

We stayed over the week of 4th of July and so the price of 5 days was about 350.00 night but all the ads where saying about 93 which should be good for this place. All the water fixture where very hard to turn on and off my kids could not do it, the shower ones were also loose from the wall. At night the sprikler water was hitting the house while trying to sleep. Refrigerate door hand two missing rails to keep food from falling. Called about this but did nothing to try and fix Watch out for the deck boards by front door they are coming up- trip hazard. Had to clean barbecue before I could even touch it. Overall it was ok but not for the 350 a night.

The big thing would be to bring a hatchet or ax! You will definitely need this to chop some logs for the fireplace in the living room, most the pieces are too big to put in the fire. It has a very quaint living room and is very delightful to sit by the fireplace. This home also has many books and comfy chairs to sit in the living room, a great place to read. It made my husband want to buy a book when we get home and read more! :) The screen door with the main entry door wouldn't close right most of the time and would slam really hard and loud if you did not close it by hand. The house was comfortable and quaint though.

We had a very comfortable stay. My family likes lots of extra pillows and blankets , which were easy to find. I did also need to call the service line after hours for a new door code. The on call person was very helpful and efficient. The home is a perfect size for 4-5 people, nicely laid out and comfortable. The only con is that the heater in the master bedroom is fairly loud. A light sleeper would not do well there in the winter.

This ranch cabin is very cozy, boasting a nice “real wood” stone fireplace. Sometimes it nice to hear the real crackle of a fire vs. pushing a button. The kitchen, while small, is well stocked – growlers, a large plug-in skillet, and even a crock pot. We appreciate these extra little touches because they help when you are economizing and cooking in, or picking up some brew on the way home from the mountain, etc. For entertainment the cabin is stocked with games, puzzles and tons of great music CDs. The hot tub was very clean and serviced regularly. What we really enjoyed was the location, with it being so close to Aspen Lake and the river loop. It made for some beautiful walks and bike rides. We even got to pet the Clydesdale horses out at the stables! And it is close enough to the lodge, so a quick bike ride there and we were there enjoying a cocktail and the holiday lights that are so pretty this time of year. In the summertime, this cabin is good to stay at because the ranch cabins have access to their own private swimming pool. We really like that amenity because we are not into the big crowds at the SHARQ! This really is a fun little cabin for a smaller group of 4-6, and they allow dogs too, if you have a pet. It is relaxed and unfussy, and it suits us very well. And if you have never stayed at a Bennington property, I can attest that they are top notch with any concerns or questions you might have. Nobody else even comes close in Sunriver to providing the customer service that they do. ENJOY!

First time to Sun River. Loved the location and amenities. The bikes provided (3) were a plus. The home size and bedding was perfect for our group of six. We used the BBQ (located at the home), and the hot tub (was serviced weekly). We loved the amazing selection of movies and music for our evenings after a full day of activities. We biked daily, dined at a variety of locations with-in Sun River and fully enjoyed ourselves. We will most certainly visit Sun River again.

Cozy Cabin for All Seasons

My husband and I found this cabin to be very cozy and we really liked the layout. The galley kitchen is spacious and opens onto the living room in an open floor plan that made cooking and visiting very enjoyable. We were so happy that it had a nice authentic fireplace in which you can actually burn wood! :-) From the pictures it looks like the master bedroom has had some decorating updates - very inviting and a super comfortable king sized bed. We loved it in the winter and I'm hoping to go back during the summer months to be able to use the private community pool area, as the SHARC aquatic facility is just a little too overwhelming for us. Also a bonus is that it is pet friendly should you have that requirement. Highly recommend for groups of 2-6! PS - Check out the new biking and hiking trail from Circle 7 that leads to Benham Falls, and the Mountain Jug Tap Room!

Perfect Cabin in the Woods

We stayed at Ranch Cabin 17 for four nights between Christmas and New Year. It was wonderful to stay at Sunriver in the snow, in a seemingly rustic cabin with all of the amenities you come to expect in a home. A large wood burning fireplace kept the cabin warm and cozy, although it wasn't needed with the forced air furnace that was available. All the firewood you could want was stacked next to the house for the guests use. The Hot tub was a welcome comfort, especially for those playing in the snow all day. The kitchen was well equipped, the loft and bedroom upstairs were perfect for our teenagers and their friends they brought with them. The new king bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable, that we want to buy one just like it. We are looking forward to staying here again in the summer, when we can make use of the private community pool. Bennington Properties manages this cabin, and they are the best management company at Sunriver (or anywhere) that we have ever used. This cabin is one of their "Dog Loving" vacation rentals, so we got to take our Black Lab here with us for the first time to Sunriver. She really loved it there as well. Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers
