House was nice. BBQ could use new guts or new altogether. Wasn’t a big deal as we just used the stove but would have been nice. Was only able to get it to 350F. Also, double pane in back door had a leak so moisture got in between the panes. Would have been nice to be able to see outside as it was very nice weather. These are suggestions and not criticisms. We have fun no matter what we do!

There seemed to be smoke coming out of the floor by the sliding glass door, we had no clue what it was but we didn't feel unsafe at all. We were just a little confused

The home has a great layout for grandparents and our family. It has a good location close to Fort Rock Park. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Bennington would respond quickly if we needed help. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would rent this house again.

Nice home, has a good number of beds for a large group. The living room area is a bit tight, but the bedrooms and closet space is very good. The Bennington service was actually quite well except for the driveway. There was 3.5 feet of snow in it. I asked if it could be plowed or if someone with a snow blower could clear it... it was never done. I spent hours shoveling the driveway with a cheap plastic snow shovel in order to get our cars off the very narrow street. The hot tub also was buried in snow when we arrived, but it was cleared the next day. I understand the the amount of snow in Sunriver was much more than normal, but EVERY other home on that street had its driveway cleared, and many of them were vacant..... We did enjoy our stay very much, besides the driveway. Note: The upstairs shower head could use being replaced or repaired....one setting only puts out a mist of water, the other is like standing under a sink... I have not done the review on VRBO yet. I am waiting to see how the driveway issue is handled.

It was great! If you are bringing 10 people take showers quick or hot water will run out.

This home had everything that was needed and we will stay there again!

We really enjoyed the home. It was comfortable and relaxing. We plan on visiting again.

What a great stay we had at 5 Mt. Baker! The home was clean, had plenty of room for 6 adults, 4 children (ages 6 and under) and one dog!! The special touches of gift packs for the children as well as the dog were more than we have had with other vacation stays. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. The Bennington team - every one of them - was friendly, professional and made us feel as we were their first priority. We will stay again and again at a Bennington Properties. Thank you!

Kitchen and associated storage space too small for 6-8 people the house is rented for. Lack of Shark passes a big negative, enen with 50% reimbursement.
Mary - Portland
The home was not very clean. Hand prints all over the mirrors, kitchen cabinets had a lot of food and oily stains on the cupboards, the upstairs bathroom was not very clean. We were also short quite a few white towels but chose not to call and to use the others instead. The bikes were great, the beds comfy and the location was fantastic. We loved the big back deck!

We hae a great time at Sunriver.

After giving up on VRBO to find a vacation rental my self I turned to Bennington properties for help. Jess Rae was super helpful in locating a property that would fit our party of 10. The reservation, communication and payment process was really smooth. We appreciated the no hassle arrival process and being able to add an extra day to our trip after making the original reservations. Mt Baker 5 Pros: HotTub - Kids made me add this one. Discounts at SHARC, Tube rentals at Good 2 Go, I am sure there are others. Pass to SR marina so our float trip with the kids was just the right distance Big Dog Bikes - all in good working order so it made it easy to get around SR. Texting office with questions and concerns very quick to respond - big plus for this. Cons: Small Kitchen so just plans who is cooking accordingly. Electronics - TV - DVD Combo was difficult to operate and no way to play streaming music in the house something like a Sonos. Despite the smoke, we all had a great time and Bennington Properties was a big part of why it was great. Thanks, TK

Things I liked: -House able to stay warm and comfortable -Garage seems to be well insulated or heated which made it nice for the dog -Well stocked kitchen -Close to both Fort Rock Park and the North Store Suggestions for improvements: -The main living area seating is very uncomfortable and worn. -The hot tub cover is very heavy from possible water retention. Suggest a lift-assist device or a new cover. Otherwise, it may only be lifted by a single person who does tire-flips at crossfit.

Entrance into home at beginning of stay went smoothly. Kitchen was well equipped and in good working order. The house and outdoor deck were large enough for 10 people most of the time. The beds and furniture were OK but not great. The fan in the downstairs bathroom sounded like a jet engine. Towel allowance was meager. Overall, we really enjoyed the Sunriver vacation.

Well stocked home in a quiet area in the north end of Sunriver. We will definitely rent this home again!
Home was perfect for our winter vacation. Clean, well equipped and in a good location. We will definitely stay here again.
We stayed for the Christmas holiday and enjoyed the extra amenities (hot tub, sleds) and easy walks to the SHARC with epic sledding hills. Home was clean and well kept. The only downside we had was the WIFI, it was pretty slow. Especially for a home that sleeps that many people it would have been nicer to have a stronger connection for so many guests devices.

Our house was comfortable and met all our expectations. It was well stocked and everything worked as it should.
A group of friends rented this home for a few days. We were all very excited to find a beautiful home that looked exactly like the posted photos. The kitchen was well equipped as was the rest of the house. It was a fun and relaxing stay!

We loved this house! It fit all our needs and then some. The only criticism is the twin beds and double bed could use a mattress upgrade but other than that, I'm ready to book for next summer.

My family came to celebrate my birthday and it was lots of fun. We used the bikes and walked on the trails.
Sunriver is a great location for hiking kayaking biking floating and relaxing. Our unit was in a good location well stocked clean The staff at Bennington properties was responsive to our needs. We will use Bennington again
We had a great time at 5 Mt Baker and Bennington was terrific to work with as always. This particular home is nicely updated (especially the kitchen and bathrooms) and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the spacious deck and fun locstion along a challenging part of the bike trail. :) One word of caution if you have a big group, there is one bathroom for the 3 bedrooms + loft upstairs and the kitchen is a smaller galley-style kitchen so although this home can sleep a lot of people, we felt that we were at the max with 4 adults and 2 kids.
Besides having supreme weather, the accommodations were perfect!

this was the second time my family and I have stayed at Mt. Baker 5....we enjoyed both trips, different weather each has everything we needed in the kitchen, it was clean, bedding a little tacky, in my room anyway, but over all a great time and experience....hope to rent it again next year....oh, 1 thing, the first year they had special dog treats and bowls for our fur babies, it was a very nice touch, but not this year....maybe next time...I would recommend this home to everyone but not when I want to rent it again....happy travels..

Hi, I recently stayed at 5 Mt. Baker Rd. This was the perfect spot for myself and 7 of my friends. Our purpose for traveling there was to ski Mt. Bachelor which we did 2 days in a row. The location of this rental made it very accommodating to get to the ski resort in a short amount of time using the back road that was on the map in the home. We enjoyed having all the amenities and privacy of being at home. Being able to cook our own meals, play games, soak in the hot tub, and just be ourselves without interruptions was awesome. We all agreed that we will visit this place again. Thank you to Bennington Properties.

Due to family busyness during Christmas, we decided to get together for New Year. We researched and found this residence very much to our liking. First it had room for all 9 of us. Second, it was very welcoming of our 4 dogs.
The weather couldn't have been more appropriate. Two days before our arrival, it had snowed about 8 inches in Sunriver. After driving in the snow from just out of Oakridge, we arrived to a winter wonderland in Sunriver. We enjoyed a quiet evening the first night before our family of 4 adults and 3 young granddaughters arrived. The house was roomy enough to provide us all with enough room and livability. One son went to Mt. Bachelor to snow board while the rest of us went down the street to SHARC and played on the inner tube hill.
We enjoyed local dining, everything from Blondies Pizza, to the Sunriver brewery to Tumalo Feed Co.
It was agreed by all that we should do this again next year. It is in the plan.
Thank you to the home owners and Bennington for making a great holiday celebration even better.

This house had a superb kitchen, great layout, well-stocked kitchen. The big problem was the beds. They were hard as rocks. The linens were cheap and not particularly comfortable considering the cost of the house. My husband ended up sleeping on the sofa, my son slept on the floor. The futon was the most comfortable bed in the whole house. The top rack of the dishwasher we broken and no one came to repair it despite our call to report it. I would rent this house again ONLY if they did something to upgrade the beds and linens.
