We live over on the coast so we make a trip to Sunriver one to two times a year. This house was a little smaller than what I normally book but probably my favorite house we’ve ever stayed in. The location is wonderful. The property manager is always our preferred company. Beds were comfortable. Living room furniture was super comfortable. I think the only thing I need to report back to the property manager is the hood of the barbecue was missing a bolt but my husband was able to navigate that once he was aware. Great little house

We stayed at East Butte 10 in early May and really enjoyed our time there! Location is excellent for exploring Sunriver and easy access to Highway 97 to explore the surrounding area. Amenities were as described with comfortable furniture and beds, easy to use bikes and the hot tub was clean and warm. Only a couple of issues that we felt could be improved: the cookware was well used which made cooking a bit difficult (dull knives and sticky pans), not a lot of space in either bathroom so it would be difficult for more than two people to get ready at a time, both kitchen and master bath faucets could be upgraded for better operation (both are too small), and lastly some of the jets in the hot tub didn't operate well. Those were minor inconveniences though and otherwise the place is cute and would happily stay there again. Bennington Properties who managed it was very quick with communication and answered all the questions we had.

We booked this place for a family ski vacation at Mt. Bachelor, and we weren't disappointed. It was perfect for a family of four with the kids together in the second bedroom. The house was spacious for its size, and the master suite with the walk-in shower, huge tub, and fireplace was great. As for location, we found it tremendously easy to get to Bachelor from the house, even during a week where there was a ton of snow and super cold temps. The Sunriver village was just 5 min away for groceries, coffee, and a few restaurants, too. We’ll totally be back.

A Home with a Ramp!

The ramp to the deck and back door was a godsend! The deck has a peaceful view - no roads are visible. The kitchen was very well-equipped, complete with dishes and flatware for at least 10, a wok (You don't need to bring your own here!), a few basic food items, and lots of foil, plastic wrap, and food storage bags. The living room lights are not adequate for reading. The second bedroom was rather small and the queen bed was softer than we like. It's shower did have some grab bars, but the doors into both this bedroom and its bathroom are unusually narrow. The front steps need a hand rail. It would be helpful if the shower in the large bathroom had grab bars.

We made reservations pretty late in the season so were pretty limited in our choices. We would definitely come back to Sunriver, however I'm not sure we would rent the same home. The layout was just weird and it was so dark and cavelike. Would have preferred a more modern/bright home. Staff at the rental office was wonderful and very helpful in helping us find our way around and have a great time.

This is a charming home, beautifully decorated, in a quiet cul-de-sac. The AC came in handy during the two days of over 100 degree temperatures. The kitchen is well equipped. The master bedroom/bathroom comprise one large U-shaped area, and the walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub were amazing amenities. However, in the master bedroom the lack of a door between the bed and bath areas could create light and sound problems for an early riser vs a partner who wants to sleep in. The folks at Bennington Properties were very forthcoming with information and very responsive to questions and concerns both before and during our stay.

Very cool layout. The living room and kitchen area are cozy and fun with a couple of large and soft love chairs. The rooms are decorated with a interesting and woodsy charm. The deck and hot top area are laid out well. Biggest opportunity would be to clean up the electronics-too many cables and remotes. This place would be ideal for couple using the master bedroom and a couple or child using the other bedroom. All and all we were very pleased with our stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at 10 East butte. The attention to detail is remarkable! The house was very comfortable, clean and well apportioned. A couple suggestions: The front door needs a little WD-40 on the hinges (it squeaked like an old haunted house!) and the lighting in the living room, master bedroom and the master bath are very poor. Otherwise we loved our experience and would come again.

This was our third time staying here (first in the fall and not summer) at 10 E Butte and we wouldn't stay ANY other place in Sun River. We love the convenience of where it's located, the amenities and the cozy size and ambiance is perfect for a weekend getaway just for my husband and me. This time was extra special being our first wedding anniversary and there was even a card and bottle of wine there waiting for us when we arrived....such a nice extra and generous gift. We will definitely be returning, hopefully, sooner than later!

My husband and I have been staying at this property in October for several years. The house is cozy and very well supplied. We had a small problem with our heat (thermostat) and called and someone was out within 1/2 hour and had it fixed. The staff was friendly and very helpful and even called us later to make sure heat was working. The house is perfect and we look forward to our visit each time.

We had a fantastic time here in Sunriver! We came for our 40th anniversary. And one of the things that made it fantastic was the house we stayed in. It was BEAUTIFUL!! Well taken care of. We had a couple hot days and some very cool days. Which were great - we were able to enjoy the fireplaces. I LOVED the master bathroom. The jetted tub was thee best! And having the fireplace on while bathing was wonderful. Another very special thing that Bennington Properties did was-when we arrived sitting on the dining room table was a happy anniversary card and a bottle of wine! What a nice surprise!! Found the master bed mattress very soft on one side. Was this a special bed like a sleep number bed? There is no mark on the gas fireplace to show where one turns the temperature knob. It does not want to turn itself off. Maybe the temperature dial does not work.

It is always nice to get away at Sunriver. However, we won't stay in this one again. It is to dark inside and getting pretty worn for the price you charged us. We have stayed in that perticular one before and always choose Bennington Property to stay with. Would appreciate a little price break on our stays, given we treat the place with respect, stay with you often and always return to your company for accommodations. Great company for anytime we have a problem, you always have someone right out to fix it.

10 East Butte is a very pretty house, just the right size for a small family. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and everything was in perfect working order. A large common area behind the house gives a nice woodsy setting while on the back deck. <br/> A couple things to note are that the master bathroom is open to the bedroom. The toilet is not enclosed, so you may want to be discreet when using the toilet while someone else is in the bedroom. The two bedrooms do share a wall, which both headboards are against. <br/> I can see this being the perfect house for many people. I will probably choose one with a bit more bathroom privacy next time.

We love this house! Perfect for two! This was our fourth time staying at this house! Our only complaint is the 4:30 check in time. We feel that's just too late- 3:00 is much more reasonable!
