Bring salt/pepper and any seasonings you want to use to BBQ with, and coffee filters. The upstairs bed isn't very comfortable, its lumpy and the mattress pad isn't helpful. enjoy the mountain bikes, the ride to the river trail is close and best of all is all the deer in the neighborhood. We had 7 that made home in the front of the house all the time.:)

I flew into town to spend Labor Day weekend with my adult children. The property was great, exactly as advertised. Bennington Properties, the property manager was easy to communicate with and made the check-in and check-out seamless. We will definately consider the property again.

We loved this home so much, but the owners really need to replace the Master King Bed. It's lumpy and not very comfortable. Other than that, we loved loved loved the home.

Nice reverse living home with lots of skylights and a lovely deck. Close to Cardinal Bridge!

Spacious. Knowing guests were coming in it would have been nice when they opened the windows in the bedroom and turned on the fan that they would have closed the sunlight shades in the ceiling so the sun didn't heat up the main part of the house it was extremely hot and stuffy, as there were dust and hair clumps that flew all around when we turned on the fans. It was apparent that no one swept under the couches and coffee table as we found toys and stuff when we had to sweep. The airflow upstairs in the main part of the house was not good and very uncomfortable. When we made our reservation Lisa was so kind as to reserve the pet trailer for us to pick up when we arrived but no one knew about it, they were going to get ahold of Lisa to find out and call me back but no one did so towards the end of the next day we went back into the office to check and they finally found it and had Maintence bring it out a couple hours later so there went 2 out of our 4 days there. Not the best experience I've had with Bennington and Bennington is who we solely use because of our past experiences have been truly amazing.

Great pet friendly home. Everything was great except the issues that we experienced with having the dishwasher repaired. We were told a time frame of 10-noon on Thursday, however the repair company did not come until 4pm.

Clean and bright, the house is conveniently located near the river and trail, spacious and clean. Lots of sunshine. The big deck is one of my favorite. The other is the jacuzzi. You can watch star while you take a hot bath in jacuzzi. The neighborhood is very very quite, only wind and bird disturb your sleep ( in a very pleasant way)

This home accommodates 6 people comfortably, not 8. The seating arrangement in the shared living space as well as the kitchen area does not have seating for 8 people. I would not recommend this home for anyone with a group size larger than 6.

A little far from the village, very close to the river. Nice house!

5 Blue Goose is a great house set up wonderfully for family and visitors (we had one of my daughter's friends with us). Great location as the river walk access is just steps from the door. The spacious deck however, may be the best feature as we spent many hours sipping coffee in the quiet of the morning and having some wine in the coolness of the evening. What a great setting. With no AC we thought that it might be a problem in July but it was no problem. With the many ceiling fans and just closing up the windows and putting down the blinds to keep the cool in while you are off enjoying Sunriver and the surrounding area activities and when we got back we just opened it up to the late afternoon breezes and coolness of the night.

We had a GREAT time in Sunriver and at 5 Blue Goose Ln. In our confusion, we knocked on the door at 5 Blue Grouse. Fortunately, the woman was home to tell us we had the wrong street! Bennington service was excellent. There was no roasting pan for our turkey and in short order, we were awarded a roasting pan.I tried to open a can with the house can opener.-- IT WAS TERRIBLE! We ended with a hammer and a screwdriver to open the can. Please replace the can opener for the next rental person. It will save grumbling. Thank you for the wonderful home. It was so comfortable and accommodating for us. We like the kitchen equipment although we did not use anything in the cupboard it was nice to know it was available. We are deciding whether or not to return or just to take a break for a year. We have recommended Sunriver to many of our friends- summer or winter.
