We rented these two homes that were close together for a family vacation. The house at Nine Iron was perfect because there was a master suite downstairs and an upstairs space for daughter where she could spread out and and also get some work done without interrupting the rest of us. The house was very well stocked with supplies. We loved the back deck! If you have dogs, it is the perfect place to hang out because the deck is totally fenced off. The dogs loved it. The house at Big Sky 8 was used by our son and his family. We could walk back and forth between the houses and spend meal times together, but also had our own spaces. We have been spending time in Sunriver each summer for over 30 years and this year was the best fit yet for our needs. We love working with Bennington Properties. They are very responsive to our needs. When we first arrived at the house, we had a little trouble accessing the house with the access code. I texted them and they responded immediately. We got into the house and then they sent someone out to double check on things. I would highly recommend staying at either of these houses.

This home at the quiet end of Sun River was perfect for our family. We were so thankful we could bring our dogs especially since they are getting up there in age. We were also very happy that Bennington had all the box fans running when we arrived. As usual, Bennington was very responsive answering my many questions!

We arrived at the check in time which was 5 pm . We brought our own food to cook dinner. We noticed there was no cooking oil or butter, so dinner was not possible. The local market closed at 7 pm. It was 7:05. When we called Bennington they told us to drive 30 minutes to Bend to get butter.

Had a great stay. Clean, spacious, quick access to some trails right down the street. Kitchen is well stocked. Only complaint is that not all of the Jets worked in the hot tub and twice we had to reset the hot tub circuit breaker to reset the tub because the heater had stopped working. It warmed up again after resetting.”

This is a great space for young children. The deck and yard was perfect for adventures and nature walks. We had three toddlers between our two families and it was perfect. It's also really close to a great park!

This is a very comfortable family and pet friendly home. It is not fancy and that was perfect for our stay. Very close to the north end trails which was really fun. We hiked to the falls in the snow. Very quiet area of Sunriver which was great. Will hope to stay at 8 Big Sky in the future.

Wonderful long weekend in Sunriver! I was greeted with a birthday gift from Bennington which was a sweet surprise. The home was just as expected, nice open floor plan and well equipped. Very comfortable and more than enough space for four adults. We had a couple of chilly nights during our stay so the wood burning fire place and hot tub came in handy! The location was perfect for us and we liked that the backyard did not face neighbors. This home is the perfect basecamp to explore Sunriver and Bend we even took a day trip Crater Lake. Also the Bennington team was very responsive and did everything possible to ensure we had a great stay. When we noticed weather conditions might be iffy on our departure day we inquired about adding an additional day. They got back to us right away with pricing and availability on a Saturday. Overall would recommend this home and hope to come back soon! Thank you!

Big Sky Lane, house 8 was great for our stay in Sun River. The house was spacious, the wood burning fireplace was cozy and the kitchen was amply stocked. We also really enjoyed the large back deck. The house was outdated (kitchen and bathrooms) but the space was great. Large living space, open floor plan and very comfortably sized bedrooms. We'd recommend this house and staying here again. We also really enjoyed the quietness of where the house was located. It's pretty far north in SunRiver, so it's a bit of a long bike ride to get to the store, etc. but it's super quiet and we enjoyed that since we have a little one. :) The customer service from Bennington Properties is TOP NOTCH. So helpful and on top of any request we had during our stay. Thank you!

This was a great house that comfortably fit 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs. It was off the beaten path and very, very quiet. Love that the kitchen and laundry room were both big enough to accommodate a couple adults working in there at the same time and not tripping over each other.

The floor plan and neighborhood are fabulous! Be aware that there is no air conditioning -- something we missed. The kitchen is very nice to cook in and we grilled on the deck too. The mattresses are not the best but overall -- we would stay there again.

What a beautiful place --- both SunRiver in general and our rental in particular. We had fires every day (extremely dry wood) and lounged and read on the ample couches, cooked meals together, and explored the area. We took hikes, snowshoed and visited family in another home. The snowy scenery from the windows was extraordinary!

This is a very comfortable house with bunk beds for families and a great kitchen with all of the amenities needed. Fireplace for when the power goes out, which has happened before. A great hot tub to si in while it snows and a BBQ to cook a hot meal to warm up. The house is right on the Sunriver trail system and the USFS land across the street for exploring. My second rental of the house and I will be back. Come and enjoy!

This is the second year we have stayed in this home. We love the location most of all, at the north end of Sunriver. It is quiet and at the edge of the national forest for trail walks and biking. Some may find it too far from the village, but that is exactly why we love it. Everything we want is within walking or biking distance. And of course Bennington takes great care of guests. Everything was ready when we arrived, including having the heat on since these fall nights are chilly.

Escape on the Quiet Side

Our group had a great time at Big Sky 8. The house is located in the NW corner of Sunriver and it is on the quiet side. It is close to the USFS trails to the Deschutes River. No snow for snowshoeing unfortunately. <br/><br/>The house layout is comfortable for our group to gather to make meals, watch movies, play board games and just enjoy the view. There are no houses behind the property, just the bike path. <br/><br/>Even though we were in the upper corner of Sunriver, it is a short bike ride into the village or the SHARC.<br/><br/>The orange bikes are a hoot and it reminded us all of our childhood with the single speed bikes. <br/><br/>Enjoy!
