Jessica, Guest & Owner Services Manager
Guest & Owner Services Manager Jessica Pritchard has been with Bennington Properties since 2013. Jessica brings a Marketing and Public Relations industry background to her job; formerly working as a Publicist for the Seattle International Film Festival and Membership Representative for the Oregon Athletic Clubs.
Jessica grew up in Irrigon, Oregon, located on the Columbia River, just west of Hermiston. She is part of a close knit family and even attended the same high school as her mom. Both sets of her grandparents were married over 67 years, and both grandfathers were in World War II. Jessica grew up next door to grandparents, and in the same town as her current boyfriend of four years.
Jessica received her undergraduate degree from Linfield College in Intercultural Communications and Mass Communications. She focused on cultural studies while abroad in Australia for a semester, and studied Media & Mass Communications throughout the United Kingdome for one term. She also received a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
Besides her overseas schooling, Jessica also traveled extensively for a year after graduating from college; three months of backpacking with a friend and the rest alone. While on the road she visited 14 countries. Her time in Bali was most memorable; hanging out in the Ubud Monkey Forest and being immersed in a completely different culture. Other adventures have included volunteering in an orphanage in Romania and helping a family in Spain rebuild their home.
These days, Jessica has traded in her passport for a pair of boots and snowshoes, even getting to the top South Sister in March 2014. She is a certified Yoga instructor, enjoys running the Deschutes River Trail with her dog, Freud, fishing, and working out with her sister. As a lover of all seasons, she likes the many biking trails and hiking paths Sunriver has to offer.
After hearing about a job posting at Bennington Properties, Jessica researched the company and decided the opportunity was right up her alley. She loves hearing the stories from the visiting families as they make their lasting memories.
“After the interview process, I could tell they cared about their employees and who they worked with. I really enjoy the people that I work with and the fact our company strives to be the best.”
Jessica’s Favorite Places for a Cup of Americano
Brewed Awakenings - A great location right in the Sunriver Village and has a nice cozy atmosphere with the fireplace.
Lone Pine Coffee Roasters - Reminds me of a lot of boutique coffee shops from around the globe. It's tucked in an alley off one of the main streets in Bend, has a cool vibe, and great espresso.
Thump Coffee & Backporch Coffee Roasters - Both shops have great coffee and are fun spots to meet up with friends. There are multiple locations throughout Bend so it's easy to make a quick stop for a to-go cup as well.
