In the kitchen, sleek stainless steel appliances and generous counter space make cooking a shared event, not a chore.
Just beyond, the primary suite offers a King bed, TV, and a spa-like bath—dual sinks, a walk-in shower, and a deep soaking tub where you can melt away the day’s adventures. A half bath sits conveniently off the entry.
Upstairs, the charm continues. A Queen room and a King room with large TV share a bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The fourth bedroom is a playful haven—five twin beds, a foosball table, dart board, mini ping pong table, and its own private bathroom. With a TV, Blu-ray player, and comfy seating, it’s the kind of room kids vanish into and emerge from hours later, grinning.
Step outside onto the expansive deck, where a gas BBQ sizzles and two hammocks sway gently under the whispering pines. Four adult cruiser bikes wait for you to explore Sunriver’s trails. Perfect property for 3 families (6 adults and 5 kids). The kids bedroom was perfect with 5 separate twin nooks as well as games, TV, ping pong and foosball. House was very well equipped with ample kitchen cookware and utensils. Sauna was awesome as well. Very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Slightly dated but great for families- lots of activities for the family from bikes to ping pong to foosball. Bennington perks were appreciated to make extras more cost friendly.

This house is super cozy and expansive. It has lots of character and feels like a home — not a lifeless rental. The home is clean, organized and functional, with an amazing zone for kids—really for all ages. There is an upstairs wing that is a rec room/big play space with cozy individual bunks off to the sides of the space with dividing walls between each with little lamps for each bed. We appreciated all the bathrooms making it an easy place to share with multiple families. We loved the location as well. This place is a gem! Highly recommend!

This property is the perfect place for a multi-family getaway. The "kid's" room was a favorite with multiple beds (we had 4 kids and there were still empty beds), movie watching area, games and our favorite - Foosball. The kitchen is well stocked and great for cooking/entertaining large groups at the raised bar or long dining room table. After a day hiking or skiing, drop into the sauna and relax. We also found the property to be the best hide-and-go-seek house of all time! We had to really search for the young ones. I highly recommend this property for groups of all sizes and ages. You will not be disappointed!!

Scandinavian refinement and quirky artful decor — It’s refreshing to walk into a vacation rental that feels like a real home. Exposed timber framing and a sleek kitchen highlight the ‘open concept’ of a beautiful great room with natural light and a gas fireplace — clean and spacious while maintaining a cozy atmosphere -- FIVE STAR accommodations … and yes, there is a sauna, fondue pot and a Viking helmet.

We have stayed at Shadow 3 several times because it is the perfect spot for several families to share a Sunriver vacation. With three private bedrooms and a huge “bunk room” space (with adorable sleeping nooks for 6 single beds), it comfortably accommodates 3 families. The house feels like a home, with unique furnishings and art, a cozy wood stove, a sauna, and a large, open living/kitchen/dining space that is perfect for hanging out, making great food, and lingering over meals together. A large garage and utility/mudroom space is perfect for parking bikes in summer, or hanging gear to dry after a day of skiing in the winter. We also appreciate that the kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, even baking and serving ware — so much more complete and high quality than the things you find in most rentals. Shadow 3 is our first choice of cabin for Sunriver vacations at any time of year.
