2018 marks the 10-year anniversary of the founding of dog-friendly ski and snowshoe trails at Wanoga Snopark.
A celebration is scheduled for February 24th, with Kreg’s waffles and other goodies for you and your dog.

The cast is set, the practices are underway and Sunriver Stars Community Theater is presenting its 22nd production next month.
Sylvia Goldberg arrives home to Margate, New Jersey from a trip to Israel to see her grandson get married. On a side trip to Alexandria, she picks up an object from an outdoor bazaar. But…is it a trinket or a priceless relic?
The fun starts when the geriatric genie Eugene appears, Sylvia tries to hide him from her prying friends Mabel, Thelma and Fannie.
To add to the mix, Savalas “owns” Eugene and will do anything to get him back.
The Director is Gail Gibson assisted by John Gibson with Jami Hill Miller as Stage Manager.

Join a US Forest Service Naturalist on a interpretive snowshoe tour at Mt Bachelor for FREE!
Learn about winter ecology, the geology of Central Oregon, the Deschutes National Forest watershed and the plants and animals found throughout the area.
Wear snow boots and warm winter clothing. Snowshoes will be provided. No previous experience is required. Recommended for ages 10 and up, no dogs or infants in packs.
Every Saturday and Sunday Tours start at 10am to 11:30 and again 1:30pm to 3pm. Tours take about 1 1/2 hours.
Check in 15 minutes prior at the USFS snowshoe hut outside the guest services building in west village.

The 6th annual Vertfest at Mt Bachelor is back!
Brought to you by the Central Oregon Avalanche Association, this back-country festival is an event to celebrate winter and back-country culture with a full weekend of races, clinics, demos, and fiesta.
The festival is dedicated to raising the level of snow safety education, along with supporting the efforts of avalanche centers everywhere.

A one of a kind event inspired by the legandary surfer and Mt. Bachelor Ambassador, Gerry Lopez!
The snowboard event features a series of huge sweeping banked corners, quarter pipes that are shaped into wave-like features bringing the surf to the mountain.
The Big Wave Challenge will be accompanied by a traditional luau and live music featuring Bend’s local Hawaiian musician, Bill Keale.
