Rare Views of Early Central Oregon
You can take a step back in history from the early 1900’s when visiting the exhibit at the Deschutes Historical Museum.
An exhibit of 60 fine printed photographs from the original, large-format glass-plate negatives is on display.
See images of the Old Mill District when it was the Brooks-Scanlon and Shevlin-Hixon lumber mills.
The images, taken between 1908 and 1930, feature the early life and what was important. From logging, farming, fishing, and horseback riding.
The exhibit is open now through March 2019.
