This charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is a fantastic find in Sunriver! Steps from the shops, restaurants, and fun at the Village at Sunriver, it offers the perfect combination of an excellent location, comfortable accommodations, and affordability.
A cozy 900+ square feet, 9 Deer is well suited for a couples getaway or small family retreat. The kitchen is very clean and stocked with everything you will need to prepare a great meal. Cuddle up next to the gas stove and enjoy a movie or watch a ball game on the flat screen TV in the living room.
A queen bedroom with a flat screen TV and a full bathroom are located on the main floor.
Head upstairs to the second queen bedroom and full bathroom.
Your children will love their secret hiding spot in the loft located above the living room - the steep, ladder-like stairway leads up to the twin bed with a trundle, accommodating 2 additional guests.
A gas BBQ, patio seating, and private hot tub await you on the 2 decks.

Great location, well appointed. The hot tub is comfortable and in good weather the pool is nice! A nice walk to the village, lodge, nature center and River Loop walk. A very comfortable home!

The location is great, easily accessible to village, lodge or river loop walk. The home is comfortable and well appointed. The beds are pretty firm, I’d encourage the owner to address that. Had the weather been warmer, we would have checked out the pool, the hot tub was very nice!

9 Deer Lane is a wonderful vacation property with an excellent location close to the Village. My husband and I, plus our small dog, stayed for a long weekend and had an amazing time! Bennington's check in process was super easy and the customer service team was quick to respond to our inquiries and questions. The front door lock (love that it is a code and no key is needed!) alerted us that the battery was low so I notified Bennington and they had a maintenance tech there to replace the batteries within 15 min. The property was clean when we arrived and there were lots of extra treats waiting for us provided by Bennington Properties. Our little dog loved the treats and dog dish! The little extras really made our stay special! The kitchen was clean and had all the basics. The only thing we couldn't find was a metal barbecue spatula (we made do with a wide blade knife). Other than that, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Both bathrooms are on the small side and the fixtures are dated but they are fully functional and clean. We appreciated all the extra towels provided and liked that there were separate “hot tub towelsâ€. The hot tub was ready to go when we arrived and it was clean and well maintained. The living area was very cozy and the gas fireplace was perfect for the colder evenings. The furniture fit the room well and was in good condition. Both bedrooms were cute and cozy. We slept in the downstairs bed and the mattress was comfortable. It was also nice there was a second TV in the downstairs bedroom. The bikes were in good condition and tires fully inflated when we arrived. This has not been the case when we have rented from other property management companies so we were very pleased with how well Bennington maintains their bicycles. We had a small dog with us (we love that Bennington has Dog Loving properties!) and even though the property itself didn't have a lot of space for potty breaks, the big area in the middle of the Deer Ln. circle was perfect. We would definitely stay at Deer 9 again and will only book through Bennington Properties because of their amazing customer service and affordable prices!

This house is very close walking distance to the Village and also walking distance for most to the Lodge. Sunriver never disappoints and we had a great time with all of the activities and free entertainment at our doorstep. The house itself was just ok and while conveniently located it is very close to the train tracks if noise is a concern. Very quiet and peaceful when train not passing though. There were no bbq utensils and no pancake/egg turner in the house. We made due with a pie server, but these things seem like items any home should have! I've rented quite a few homes and this one was pretty bare bones in the kitchen. The hot tub was clean, but many of the jets did not work and the headrests and air adjustment knob were broken off. The patio was not swept and covered in “droppings†from the trees, making shoes a requirement on the deck. Overall we had a great time in Sunriver, and liked our location, but for $400/night after all the taxes and fees I expected more. I probably would not rent this house again. Bennington Properties staff was great and easy to work with, I would rent through them again.

Home was perfect for our needs! We had three couples, one couple had a baby and a 3 year old along with 2 dogs. The home did not feel overcrowded at all and the three rooms felt separated enough that we all felt like we had enough privacy! The hot tub was an added and much appreciated bonus. The home is located just about 30 min away from skiing and about 40 min from Smith Rock. Overall, a wonderful vacation. Hoping we'll get to do it again real soon!

Great location and cute house but didnt heat very well. Maybe has something to do with insulation. But the heaters in the room made the rooms toasty just main area such as kitchen got very cold. But overall great experience.

We have used BP for the last 4 years I would say this is the first time we were disappointed with the property. The Kitchen was a joke. I would say that was most of the disappointment. Not having a large dining table was a hassle for eating dinners.

this is a cute little house conveniently located near the Sunriver Resort. there is a loft upstairs either a small bed for a kid. beware of the stairs to get up there. They are terribly steep and we.had a.child who accidentally fell down them on her bottom and banged up her back.

The property had a gas fireplace and instructions on the door were inconsistent with equipment. Instructions said a lot manually light the pilot light with a match. In reality an ignitor was provided. Had to call maintenance to work through. Now I know, it wont be needed again.

Cute cozy cabin a few blocks from the village. Perfect for a single family or two couples. Stairs to the loft are narrow and steep but perfect for kids if they are old enough to maneuver on their own. Bennington properties are always clean and with well stocked kitchens.

Cozy little house super close to town...very convenient for us as we had little children and could easily walk back when kids got tired. House is a bit outdated and smelled a little funny when we came in. No AC so it was very hot and humid throughout the day but other then that we had a good time!

As most of the homes in Sunriver do not have air conditioning, the homes can heat up on very warm days. Since the evenings generally cool off quite a bit, we encourage guests to practice "passive cooling," opening all windows at night and then closing windows and blinds in the morning to keep homes comfortable and cool. We stayed at Sunriver as part of a family reunion in which different members of my family and their children rented various units. There is much positive to say: the staff were polite and responsive (when we went to the main office to check in they gifted us with a six pack of beer and a bottle of wine upon hearing that we had driven 2,974 miles!). They checked to see if our rental was available; it was. And they were especially welcoming of our pet labrador retriever. The house was everything as advertised; a tidy two bedroom with loft affair. The house had a comfortable, lived in quality that we found welcoming. . . not glitzy and motel like. The layout of Sunriver can be confusing consisting of loops and curves so the new visitor should put some effort in to learning how to read the provided map. He or she will be delighted with the many paths to be walked or bicycled. The hot tub was a treat. The "yappy hour" for dogs and owners was fun. Downsides? Finding an easy access to the river (our dog loves to swim) and the absence of strategically placed restrooms for those long walks taken after a bout of drinking coffee. We'd definitely consider a stay here again.

A Relaxing Time

Perfect size for my daughter & myself. We used the hot tub many times, it was especially nice after horseback riding. Close enough to walk to the village for Starbucks and dinner.
