This cozy home is conveniently located a short distance from shopping and dining at the Village, and is a short bike ride from SHARC. With a reverse layout, the great room with living, kitchen, and dining room is upstairs and stays cozy on those cool evenings with a warm wood fireplace. Relax and enjoy a movie on the flat screen TV. Step outside onto the fully enclosed front deck for grilling on the gas bbq, or out on the fully enclosed back deck for a soak in the hot tub.
A queen bedroom with gorgeous natural light and views of the forest is on the main level and is adjacent to the full bathroom.
Head downstairs to two more bedrooms; one bedroom with two twin beds and the other with a queen bed and a full bathroom with tub/shower combo in between.
When you are ready to head out and explore Sunriver, head out on one of the 4 adult bikes to find all of the excitement of the area within a few miles of your front door. The Village at Sunriver, acres of green fairways at 2 award-winning golf courses, horseback riding, and lazy summertime floats along the Deschutes River are all easily accessible from this Sunriver vacation rental. Fish the Fall River or Crane Prairie Reservoir for a nearby excursion. Looking for wintertime fun? Try snowshoeing on the fairways or head up to Mt. Bachelor, just a mere 22 miles from your front door.
This home, along with most Sunriver homes, is not air conditioned. With our cool mountain evenings and ice cold rivers and lakes to keep you cool, this is a great house for a slow paced, ice cream and iced beer kinda summer.
This home welcomes dogs, 2 max, no other pets are allowed. Fees apply
Family reunion? Great! Book this home along with our 1 Coyote, 18 Coyote, 19 Coyote, 20 Coyote, and 8 Coyote homes and have plenty of room for the whole family.

The train wasn’t bad, actually pretty cool to watch and the kids loved it. The nice part of backing up to the tracks is the private view from the hot tub

Train behind house did not bother us. Was infrequent and never woke us. Nice to have the forest behind home and not more houses
Thank you so much for the review, Melissa! Glad you weren't disturbed by the train, it is very infrequent :) We'll look forward to welcoming you back again!

This is a great choice for a relaxing family getaway. The decor is not fancy but it was completely acceptable, comfortable, and clean. There were great amenities for small children-- high chair, portable playpen, and baby backpack for biking/hiking. Our kids are grown, but the layout of the house was nice for them with two downstairs bedrooms, and other quiet/private spaces. There is a large outdoor area behind the house, but I would NOT describe it as a back yard. It was forest floor, covered in pine needles. No grass anywhere around the property. The stovetop burners and oven did not seem to heat to full capacity, but the grill worked great. The fridge was nice and cold, and the hot water capacity was fine for five people. No air conditioning, but box fans were provided in each room of the house.

Overall we really enjoyed this house--very clean with a nice floor plan (one bedroom up and two down). There are LOTS of stairs as it is a split level so steep stairs going up to the front door and then two sets of stairs inside. Additionally, as other reviewers have noted, the train tracks are in the back yard so its LOUD when the train goes by. We are heavy sleepers so it was a mild inconvenience for us, but it could get annoying for some as the trains go by 4-6 times a day at least. Easy walking distance to the village and very quiet cul-de-sac. We would stay there again!

Bennington properties is a well run managent company. The home is well equipped. Parking is limited to 2 smaller cars and no street parking. The trains do pass 2 to 3 times per day, only honked the horn once during our stay

The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The train did not bother us and was exciting for the kids when it went by.

We found the house to be very comfortable and warm. We loved the trans going by. They were not overly loud in house. Very quite neighborhood and close to store if needed

Your customer service and quality of homes is great. Above and beyond. Unfortunately, the location of this property was about 50 feet away from the train tracks. We would never have booked this location had we known about the tracks. The trains woke us up all night long and scared our kids and kept them awake as well. It was a deal breaker for us. In the future, we will double check the location before booking. I feel that this should be explained in detail before letting people book close to then tracks. Not to mention how dangerous it is with no fencing to prevent children or pets from walking onto the tracks.
Hi Nicole, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm so sorry to hear that the train was a bother to you. We do include in all listings of our homes near tracks a notification about their proximity to the tracks to make sure that guests are aware prior to booking. If you ever have an questions about homes, please give us a call and we are happy to help. I hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise and we hope to see you again soon.
