Jim, Maintenance Technician
Maintenance Technician Jim Roberts has been with Bennington Properties since 2005. He is responsible for ensuring that every home’s upkeep is on par with Bennington Properties’ standards. Jim uses his wealth of knowledge in home building, welding, mechanics and computers each week.
Jim is originally from Eugene, Oregon. He grew up with an older brother and a younger sister. Like him, they are married with kids and dogs. When he was younger, Jim took both art classes and mechanics classes. He moved to La Pine to be with his with his wife, who was housekeeper here.
As a child, Jim loved to build and race his own stock cars. He used to travel with his family to Canada, Salt Lake City, Utah, and everywhere in between to race. He also grew up drawing, fishing and woodworking. He still takes time for drawing and woodworking at home, and fishes the many rivers and lakes in the area, but Jim has traded in his racing gear for a television to watch the Nascar races from the comfort of his couch.
Jim likes Sunriver’s changing seasons and the people he meets at work and play in the area. His ideal day would include both outdoor and indoor activities. He would start with some fishing in the morning, and then head home to watch a good Nascar race. Jim also enjoys visiting the High Desert Museum.
“If I were visiting Sunriver, it would be a worry-free vacation full of rest and relaxation.”
Jim enjoys his job at Bennington Properties. He appreciates the team atmosphere and how everyone works together. He likes to know that his co-workers and bosses all contribute to the friendly work environment.
