Gina, Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Gina has been a part of the Bennington Properties team for five years. In fact, she was our Christmas gift to ourselves, with her first day of work being on Christmas Eve! She manages the Bennington Properties email marketing campaigns, social media accounts, blogs, and most marketing promotions. We are proud to take advantage of Gina’s over two decades in the travel industry.
Originally from Burney, California, Gina grew up in Oakridge and Salem, Oregon. She spent her childhood enjoying the life of a close-knit small family atmosphere in a country rural town. After graduating from high school in Salem, Gina became a second generation Beaver by attending Oregon State University. To this day, she remains an ardent supporter of the OSU Beavers!
These days, Gina enjoys hiking, reading, nascar, rodeo's, and needlepoint. She loves the year round beauty that surrounds her in the Sunriver area. Even when it’s cold, it’s still picturesque with blue bird skies. For that reason, Gina likes all the seasons of Central Oregon. But, Indian summers are her favorite as they feel like a summer bonus.
Putting herself in our guests shoes, Gina would look forward to the peaceful setting of Sunriver. After busy work weeks, she believes vacations are for getting away and relaxing, and Sunriver is perfect for that! Gina also recommends the Sun-Lava Trail as a great way to get some exercise amongst the forest beauty. Built by the U.S. National Forest in 2014, the Sun-Lava Trail is a 5.5-mile paved bike path connecting the Lava Lands Visitor Center with Sunriver Resort and the Benham Falls day use area along the Deschutes River.
Gina currently lives with her son, and two dogs, an Australian Shepherd and a big Labrador Retriever, just south of Sunriver. She loves her job and spreading the word on how Bennington Properties is more like a family than a business.
