"We fell in love with Sunriver during our first visit - a 2005 family holiday.  Not long after we had the good luck to find 8 Quartz Mountain in Nov 2006.  This is our dream vacation and future retirement home.  For our young family and 2 dogs we felt this house and location were perfect; not only do we enjoy privacy with the large common space but we gain our own access to bike path from the back yard.  For a family with small children or teens, our home is ideal.  A few years ago, our young boys played on the boulders out back. Now they are able to bike anywhere on their own, including the Village Mall for an afternoon scoop at Goodies.

We hope you feel our mountain house is your home too.  The large back deck has seating to accommodate +10.  The new hot tub overlooks the forest and is a great way to revive after a long day of exercise.  Being dog friendly is important as we're dog lovers too.   Although we find a new adventure in the Cascades every year (raft trips, lava caves, lake hikes, kayaking, etc.) it comes down to simple things that we really appreciate - hanging out and sipping our morning coffee while watching deer and wildlife in our quiet and private "backyard"."
