SUNRIVER, OREGON

Bennington Properties, LLC is a small family owned and operated Real Estate and Vacation Rental property management company located in beautiful Sunriver, Oregon.

Sunriver is a destination resort community located in Central Oregon and bordered by the Deschutes National forest on three boundaries. It is situated 16 miles south of Bend, Oregon off Highway 97.  This popular resort has 30 plus miles of paved bike pathways, 2 swimming pools, 23 tennis courts , the Deschutes River defining the west boundary and two 18 hole golf courses.

There are over 4000 home sites (includes homes and condos) which are a mix of permanent residents and vacation homes/rentals. 

Central Oregon is east of the Cascades in the "high desert" area.  Climate is dry, with snow in the winter and lots of blue sky all summer long. Summers, however, are not extremely hot as there are usually 40 degree swings in temperature each day.  Days will be hot and dry, with evenings cool.  

Mt. Bachelor, Oregon's premier ski area, is just 18 miles from Sunriver.  The Deschutes National forest offers wonderful outdoor activities, including fishing, kayaking, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, canoeing, and rafting. Lakes dot the area and the Deschutes (little and big) meander throughout the region.
