Bennington's Housekeeping Standards

At Bennington Properties we are passionate about cleanliness.  We want all of our guests and property owners to arrive to a clean, well maintained home.  Housekeeping is a demanding profession and we are ever striving to improve our quality and efficiency and to find and keep the best housekeepers in Central Oregon.  Below is a list of our housekeeping standards and the commitment we make every day to achieve excellence.

• We will pursue housekeeping excellence for our guests and property owners through the creation of professional certification programs for managers, front-line housekeepers, and quality assurance inspectors.

• We will always strive to provide our housekeeping employees with an enjoyable working environment constantly stressing their important role in guest and owner satisfaction.

• An accurate, timely, and courteous response will be given to all housekeeping issues of any guest or owner.

• Every effort will be made to learn of and to comply with all local, state, and federal regulations that apply to our housekeeping department.

• We will have an inspection done on each home prior to a guest or owner arrival to assure the home is done to the highest standard and that the property is safe and secure.

• All housekeeping staff members will be trained in proper and safe cleaning techniques and in property security and in the OSHA Hazard Communication program.

• No guest or employee will be allowed to smoke at any time in a rental property.

• The safety and security of our guests and owners will always be of paramount importance and thus when cleaning bathrooms, a germicide will be used in every instance.

• We will assure that we have accurate Lost and Found records and items found in properties will be retained in a secure location.

• Owner and guest linens will be laundered in a manner that minimizes the potential for growth of harmful bacteria.

• We have a set of departure cleaning guidelines that are readily available to any owner or rental guest.
