lines, and a great value. Minutes from Sunriver, Oregon,
Mt. Bachelor offers nearly 3700 acres of varied terrain
and sits in the high desert of the Central Cascades and
is known for dry snow and the best skiing and riding in
the west. Featuring over 70 groomed runs and an average
annual snow base of 150-200 inches. Lift ticket prices
and times of operation vary depending on the time of
year.

Cross Country Skiing
With the Deschutes National Forest at your back door
your options of places to ski abound. Don’t know where
to start? Try the 35 miles of groomed Nordic trails on

Snowblast Tubing Park
Located between the Ski and Sport building and
the bottom of the Red Lift, experience the snow like
never before! Snowblast Tubing Park, where the rubber
meets the snow, is full of fun with an 800 foot ride
full of rollers. The surface lifts are built with the
latest technology to pull you up the slope comfortably
and quickly.
Dog
Sled Rides
“Linking humans and animals in a spirit of love and
cooperation.” Join Trail of Dreams for an experience
you will not soon forget. Trail of Dreams is operated
and owned by Jerry Scdoris and his daughter Rachael.
Rachael is a world renowned athlete and had her
first Iditarod finish in 2006. Riding with Jerry,
Rachael and their athletic team of dogs is a unique and
majestic experience. Imagine gliding over the snow,
taking in the sights of Central Oregon... snow-covered
Broken Top, the Three Sisters and Mt. Bachelor... from
the comfort of an Iditarod Dog Sled.

Snowshoe Tours
Join a US Forest Service Naturalist outside the Guest
Services Building at West Village for FREE 90 minute
interpretive tours. Learn about the winter ecology and
geology of Central Oregon, the Deschutes National Forest
watershed, and the plants and animals found throughout
the area.
Dining
For dining, visit the Sunrise Lodge where an expansive
menu is sure to please any appetite. Menu options
include gourmet burritos and wraps, sandwiches, salads
and smoked selections from their specialty smoker. BBQ
items will also be available on the deck and will
include hotdogs and hamburgers.
Shopping
Find the latest in outdoor clothing and all the
necessities for fun under the sun. The Mt Bachelor Ski &
Sport, located in the Sunrise Lodge, has what you want:
Jackets and light hiking boots, sunscreen and souvenir
T-shirts. Open 9am to 4pm weekdays and 8am to 4pm
